Beberapa waktu yang lalu joule bekerja sebagai Helpdesk di salah satu internet service provider Wireless di gedung cyber yang namanya Ez.Net. Saat ini memang joule sudah tidak menjadi pegawai disana, tp waktu lihat foto2x lama di HP jadi inget dulu waktu jadi NOC

foto dibawah ini waktu joule shift malam di ISP tersebut, itu ada handphone di depan keyboard kalo berdering pasti isinya komplain dari client, wekekekek.

nah kalo mo liat yang sebenarnya NOC tuch seperti ini.

foto diatas diambil waktu salah satu link back bone terganggu, jadi harus di cek “PING” time nya, kalo ada RTO maka wassalam sebab jaringan wireless ini saling terkoneksi satu sama lain, seperti “tree” jika satu putus maka link dibelakangnya ikut putus, software semaca What’s Up IpSwitch gak banyak bantu, jalan satu-satunya seperti di atas satu LCD isinya monitoring ping time, ini shift malam dan sampai pagi ini yang dikerjakan, selain utak atik mesin router. Bekerja sebagai mengajarkan joule untuk lebih bersabar menerima “komplain” baik kasar banget or halus dari client, tinggal bagaimana pengendalian diri biar kita gak terpancing untuk marah.

Cara mengganti MAC address

Method 1:

This is depending on the type of Network Interface Card (NIC) you have. If you have a card that doesn’t support Clone MAC address, then you have to go to second method.

a) Go to Start->Settings->Control Panel and double click on Network and Dial-up Connections.

b) Right click on the NIC you want to change the MAC address and click on properties.

c) Under “General” tab, click on the “Configure” button

d) Click on “Advanced” tab

e) Under “Property section”, you should see an item called “Network Address” or “Locally Administered Address”, click on it.

f) On the right side, under “Value”, type in the New MAC address you want to assign to your NIC. Usually this value is entered without the “-” between the MAC address numbers.

g) Goto command prompt and type in “ipconfig /all” or “net config rdr” to verify the changes. If the changes are not materialized, then use the second method.

h) If successful, reboot your system.

Duch, malam ini lumayan banget gak banyak yang komplen. Hm untung lom ngantuk, dah dari kemaren lom tidur. Kira2x kalo NOC seperti ini berantakan gak sich ???

Di tempat joule bekerja saat ini, banyak sekali yang menggunakan Mikrotik sebagai base Systemnya. Bahkan dibeberapa client menjadikan Mikrotik sebagai Router. Setelah menemukan beberapa link di internet akhirnya joule bisa membuat little tutorial about mikrotik.
